Week Fifteen -The Gingerbread Man

This week we are learning all about the Gingerbread man. We made gingerbread ornaments from salt dough and we conducted an experiment to discover what will happen to the gingerbread man if tried to cross the water.  We have a new gingerbread man friend in our classroom. He came to visit us before he begins his tour of the world next week. He has promised to write us and tell us about how each new county he visits celebrates Christmas. We will learn all about those celebrations next week!

I found this fun science experiment from the internet. We all made a prediction about what we thought would happen to the gingerbread man if he tried to cross the water. We looked at him after twenty minutes and then thirty minutes and we drew what we saw. After one hour we looked and gave our conclusion about what happened to the gingerbread man.
