I took pictures of all the visitors we had for grandparents day except for one...I missed getting a picture of Kaleigha's grandmother. I hope she will come back soon and I will take her picture then. Week Five

We finished our alphabet introduction and learned about the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. We tasted sweetened coconut and fresh coconut! We worked together and solved how to break open a real coconut it was HARD work! We had a great week! Below we are painting, tracing, and cutting out our leaves for our Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree. It will hang out in the hall for PTO open house! The kids worked really hard on this project. Our class made the leaves and Mrs. Henderson's class made the trunk. We are going to share it.What a great way to be peacemakers!

On Friday Mrs. Millwood played the video Chicka Chicka Boom Boom on the school wide television network and then visited the classes as the Chicka Chicka Tree!

More fun with the number 3!
